“I am responsible for managing the sales process which includes the sales leads/new business process. I also manage the onboarding process for new clients at Furdeco. A recent example of this is the rollout of the track and track software upgrade we offer our clients.”
Describe a typical day
“Client acquisition has meant that recently I am spending many days creating specifications for customers about to ‘go live’ and arranging onboarding and training for our client accounts. This is demanding as one of our cornerstone selling points is our ability to setup and deploy new client processes.
Additionally, managing the sales enquiries, developing pricing models for service and maintaining important relationships.”
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
“I love the day to day challenge of my role. I get the most satisfaction from the service improvement elements such as the recent paperless process changes, upgrade of our branding and visual identity. The changes receive ample feedback from our customers which have been complimentary about our continued innovation and service offering”
What are your plans at Furdeco?
“I hope that Furdeco continues to grow at the current rate. We are a forward-thinking business, especially in our embracing of new technology to improve service, and so adopting the best in class solutions is an essential aspect of our success.”

”I have played snooker against all the World top 16 players in 1986. I won’t reveal how many games I won though 😊”

“Client Care with regular phone calls and emails throughout the day. I also work sectors of the business to ensure smooth operation of orders.”
Describe a typical day
“After my morning coffee, the first task is to check for any urgent communications that need priority resolution. Throughout the day I’m talking to clients and as part of this I need to regularly interact with the stock and order systems and team to ensure I have a full understanding of situations.
Anything can happen, so no two days are the same and it’s a case of prioritising my workload.”
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
“After resolving a problem, when clients appreciate your help and leave great feedback to the management team.”
What are your plans at Furdeco?
“Keep learning and progress through the ranks.”

”I learned to read at 5 years old and now can speak 5 languages fluently.”

Warehouse Team
Key Job Responsibilities
“Daily I’m involved in unloading all inbound deliveries and completing a visual check for damage. A liaise closely with other departments (mainly Account Managers), to discuss accurate information client deliveries.”
Describe a typical day
“I start work at 07:00 and check the daily inbound diary to understand what is booked in. From this the priority is to ascertain an accurate status report and identify areas where there may be issues.
I’m also part of the team that prepare for goods arrival and distribute within the warehouse.”
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
“Working with the team, where I’m a valued component.”
What are your plans at Furdeco?
“To gain a broader knowledge of all warehouse and logistics activities, including the IT to help me to progress within the company.”
