Covid-19 Update - Tiered Restrictions
With the introduction of the new system of Covid restrictions in England from the 14th October being separated into tiers, and as the country heads into further lockdown. We feel now is a good time to share an update of the most recent measures put in place at Furdeco.
We will be continuing to offer our full life cycle of services, including our two man white glove home delivery, as much as possible for all Tier 1 or Tier 2 lockdown areas.
However, any area in a Tier 3 lockdown such as areas in Lancashire including Blackpool Burnley and Lancaster as well as areas in Greater Manchester including Wigan and Bolton. We have decided in the interest of the safety of both our customers and staff to restrict deliveries to the doorway or hallway only.
This accounts for all deliveries in Tier 3 locations, and we will not be able to undertake any collections from inside the customers home.
In a Tier 3 lockdown, we won’t be asking customers to sign for their delivery as we will provide contact-free delivery and the team will sign on the customers’ behalf to ensure social distancing.
All our teams are still being given full PPE daily, with fresh face masks and gloves to wear to keep us and our customers as safe as possible. Furthermore, we will continue to adhere to strict social distancing measures when entering a customer’s home.
