Furdeco Recruitment Day 13th February 2020
Due to rapid business growth, we are currently recruiting for a number of roles within Furdeco.
On Thursday 13th of February, we will be hosting a drop-in recruitment day between 2pm - 7pm at West Midlands House, Gipsy lane, Willenhall, WV13 2HA.
The event will run on a drop-in basis with 30 minutes slots, giving you a chance to get to know our brand and values and meet some of our staff in an informal manner. We will offer full training to the successful candidates but all candidates must have a good understanding of english and a polite, customer-focused approach.

The roles we are currently recruiting for are:
Drivers
This is a customer facing role so the candidate will need a neat and clean appearance – and a great can-do attitude to go along with it.
Our delivery service runs across 7 days so flexibility is a must. Customers expectations adapt and we must adapt along with them.
Drivers will also work side by side with a porter/driver’s mate so you will need to be a team player.
To apply, you must be over 25 have good spoken English and have a current driving licence (held for at least 3 Years).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year
This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying of heavy packages, you will need a can-do attitude and a good deal of patience along with a winning way with people from all walks of life. We focus on full white glove service including assembly of furniture items such as wardrobes and installations of washing machines. Full training can be provided for the right candidate. Drivers Mate / Porter
This is a customer facing role so the candidate will need a neat and clean appearance – and a great can-do attitude to go along with it.

Drivers Mates will also work side by side with a delivery driver so you will need to be a team player.

Warehouse Operative
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives with an eagerness to learn and work in a fast paced warehouse.
Experience is preferred but not essential.
The Operative must be able to speak, read and write English and be able to drive a Flexi Truck. (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
Hours of work: 8am – 7pm
The site operates 7 days a week and you will be required to work some Saturdays and some Sundays.
Flexibility around start/finish times is required at times.
Regular work available with most colleagues working around 50 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
Working in a team receiving in goods and returns from numerous suppliers and customers.
Checking all items meet the high standards of return procedures.
Offloading and loading heavy items using trolleys/dollies.
Picking in a timely and efficient manner.
Organising and prioritising the workload.
Flexible with hours when production dictates.
Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Continuous communication with supervisor and other staff in a professional manner.
Ensure the general appearance of the warehouse and external areas are kept in good order.
Ensure all warehouse operations are compliant with the health and safety policies.
